What qualities make a great leader? Passion, knowledge, confidence, integrity, and communication.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar.
Do you have a routine each day that helps keep you balanced? I always try to wake up before everyone else in the household to give myself some “me” time (make breakfast, drink coffee, do a short workout, enjoy some quiet time) before the craziness of the day begins.
Do you have a cause or charity that is close to your heart? The Arthritis Foundation. My sister was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at a very young age and still battles with it today. She used to have mornings where she couldn’t even make it out of bed because her flare-ups were so bad. I was also diagnosed with JRA in my knees as a child, but went into remission when I was in fifth grade. It was never an issue after that.
If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would that be? Don’t be afraid to branch out and try new things! From a young age, I was so attached to golf that I really didn’t learn a lot of new skills and abilities until I was older.
